Donna & Andy Moon welcome you to the Cross Keys Pub – a welcoming and friendly pub in the heart of Castle Donington.

Situated within close proximity to Donington Park and East Midlands Airport, we are just a few minutes from the A50 and Junction 24 of the M1.

We can offer an excellect selection of real ales, a good choice of wines and a good range of tasty snacks are available. The pub is popular with locals and visitors alike, and has a sporty feel to it, as it has three teams attached to it: a rugby team, a cricket team and a football team.

Hosts, Donna and Andy Moon, have been in charge of the Cross Keys for over 10 years and have built on the solid reputation the pub had for its great atmosphere, its great drink and its filling snacks. Benefiting from a recent refurbishment, the exterior is very attractive, and well-proportioned, and has colourful hanging baskets that add to its overall attractiveness. The interior is equally as attractive and is everything a good English pub should be.

We are open every session from Monday to Thursday (though it is closed at Monday lunchtime except on Bank Holidays), and open all day on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays.

We serves four real ales: Bath Gem, Sharps Doom Bar, Marston’s Pedigree and a rotating guest ale, plus a good range of beers, lagers, cider, spirits, wines and soft drinks should you be driving. Snack food is available, in the form of, pizza’s, pork pies with pickles or jumbo sausauge rolls.

There is a quiz every other Wednesday and everyone is welcome (ring for details). There is plenty of outdoor seating in the courtyard (including smoking shelter) and ample parking spaces. Close by is the Castle Donington Race Circuit and East Midlands Airport.
